The Gyronimo Performance Pad for the Piper PA 28-181 Archer II is a comprehensive tool designed for Mass & Balance and Performance calculations.
Compatibility: This app requires an iPad 2 or newer, or iPad Mini to operate.
Users can easily calculate and interpolate performance data using actual values sourced from the Archer II Pilot's Operating Handbook (POH).

Results are immediately updated and presented in high-resolution graphics optimized for the iPad Retina screen.
Adjust all critical values using sliders to analyze and simulate various scenarios quickly.
Key features include finding optimal cruise altitude, takeoff ground roll, landing distance, climb data, and stall speeds.
The Performance Pad Archer II comprises seven main pages:
- The Mass & Balance (or Weight & Balance) Page which calculates essential parameters including Center of Gravity, Moments, Takeoff Mass, and Percent MAC (% MAC).
- The Takeoff Page provides calculations for Ground Roll and Landing Distance using Operating Handbook data along with factors such as aircraft mass, elevation, temperature, and wind conditions.
- The Climb page estimates time, fuel consumption, distance, Rate of Climb, and Climb Speed based on various factors including altitude difference and wind conditions.
- The Cruise Page assists in determining the optimal cruise altitude based on trip distance, flight level, engine RPM, temperature, wind conditions, and altimeter settings.
- Landing Page calculates Ground Roll and Landing Distance incorporating wind conditions, elevation, and altimeter settings. The Wind Components Computer aids in determining head- or tailwind components swiftly.
- Stall Speed Page computes Stall Speed based on Bank Angle and Flap Settings using KIAS and KCAS with data from the POH.
- Setup page allows users to Load and Save up to five Aircraft Settings and Scenarios. Additionally, users can send a Mass & Balance Summary to their email address or access tutorials via the video channel.
In addition to the standard features, the app offers two distinct modes: "Individual Mode" for independent calculations and "Plan Mode" which facilitates a complete performance planning process by forwarding calculated values to subsequent pages with access to a "Flight Summary Page".
